We Honor Veterans

We Honor Veterans is a partnership between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and the Department of Veterans Affairs. It teaches hospice professionals how to care for Veteran-specific physical or emotional needs that may arise near the end of life. Hospice of Yuma puts special emphasis on recruiting Veteran Volunteers to connect with Veterans through shared experiences. Hospice of Yuma is proud to be recognized as a Level 4 Partner with the We Honor Veterans Program.
